CLASSROOM
STORE PROJECT
Dear Families,
This week we began our Economics unit in Social Studies. At
the end of the unit we will turn our classroom into a store and sell items that
we have created. This year we will open our “Classroom Store” on Friday, March
22nd. Prior to that day, your child needs to create an item to sell.
Whatever they choose, they will need to make a total of 25 of them. Below you will find some
examples of items that students have created in the past.
Examples of items to
sell:
·
Magnets
·
Decorated
Clothespins
·
Beaded
Bracelets
·
Beaded
Necklaces
·
Pins
·
Bookmarks
·
Feather
Pencils
·
Cupcakes
·
Rice Crispy
Treats
·
Brownies
·
Cookies
If your child chooses
to make a baked good, just remember that we will not be able to allow any items
with nuts.
All items will be sold
for 50¢ each to students in other grades. We will use the money raised to cover
the cost of a Field Trip to Imagination Station.
If you have any
questions please feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Miss Keiser
My class collect items for two shoe boxes to send to Operation Christmas Child. This will bless a boy and girl in need.
Shamaerion gets to be "teacher" for the day.
