CLASSROOM STORE PROJECT

Dear Families,

       This week we began our Economics unit in Social Studies. At the end of the unit we will turn our classroom into a store and sell items that we have created. This year we will open our “Classroom Store” on Friday, March 22^nd. Prior to that day, your child needs to create an item to sell. Whatever they choose, they will need to make a total of 25 of them. Below you will find some examples of items that students have created in the past.

Examples of items to sell:

·      Magnets

·      Decorated Clothespins

·      Beaded Bracelets

·      Beaded Necklaces

·      Pins

·      Bookmarks

·      Feather Pencils

·      Cupcakes

·      Rice Crispy Treats

·      Brownies

·      Cookies

If your child chooses to make a baked good, just remember that we will not be able to allow any items with nuts.

All items will be sold for 50¢ each to students in other grades. We will use the money raised to cover the cost of a Field Trip to Imagination Station.
