Bulletin Boards

door decorating contest for the month of February

Each grade level at my elementary school uses a scoreboard so that students may track how they are doing with a specific standard.  We use a 1-2-3 grading scale.  A one means that students do not understand content.  A two means that students somewhat understand content.  A three means that students have mastered the standard.  Each student has a secret name on the scoreboard that they can move up as they learn and gain mastery.

This is a truffula tree that students use to monitor their Scantron scores.  My schools gives the Scantron three times a year and students are able to watch their bear climb up the tree as the year progresses.
